Meet the YesGraph Team: Luke Thomas

We thought it would be a fun idea to introduce members of the team, and give recognition to the people that help build YesGraph. Here’s the first post in our “meet the team” series.

What do you do at YesGraph?

My goal is to help grow the company. That typically entails finding and testing various marketing channels, working on outreach, content marketing, and sales.

How did you join YesGraph?

I joined YesGraph because I wanted to learn from Ivan. I also want to help grow a B2B SaaS company that sells to the enterprise with a solid product first (think Dropbox, Yammer, etc), not a pushy sales team.

What’s one interesting fact that not many people know about you?

I didn’t have the internet at home until I was 13, and the first day of college I finally had 24/7 access to high speed internet. Hello Youtube without five minutes of buffering!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy hanging out with my wife, family, and friends. I also love reading, lurking in the personal finance subreddit for some unknown reason, and browsing real estate listings for fun (I also love Monopoly.) My wife got me hooked on coffee, so it’s always invigorating to have excessive amounts of coffee at local shops.

What’s the best part about working at YesGraph?

Working remotely is amazing – it’s great to know that I can be anywhere and make valuable contributions. This also instills a sense of trust in each other, and the focus on results as opposed to hours has been a breath of fresh air. There’s a healthy work-life balance that is strongly supported, which is very rare in an early-stage startup, plus, I can’t forget the team is top-notch, friendly, and smart.

What are the top two items on your bucketlist?

I’d love to travel Europe and watch a soccer game with 80,000 chanting fans. My brother and I also talk about living off the grid, but I’m not sure if that will happen.
